Job summary

American Woodmark Corporation in Kentucky seeks a seasoned Production Supervisor to coordinate the department's production processes, optimize the use of resources, and help meet and exceed plant goals and customer expectations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of manufacturing and 5 years of supervision experience, plus strong skills in materials flow, inventory management, continuous improvement, and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of supervision experience; multiple department.
• Experience in material flows and inventory management; continuous improvement practices; and process analysis.
• Six Sigma training is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provides feedback to production providers to meet or exceed expectations.
• Plan and coordinate department activities to support SQDC targets and customer expectations.
• Supervise hourly employees and manage hiring, training, and performance.
• Ensure equipment maintenance and adherence to SOPs.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
