Job summary

Qualifications

• 6 months of continuous employment with a single employer within the last 36 months.

• Attention to bag weights, piece counts, seal integrity, and date coding.
• Ability to use Plant View for required production and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate production equipment, including the bagger, scale, conveyors, tape machine, printers, and metal detector.
• Perform equipment setup, teardown, startup, and shutdown procedures.
• Monitor bag seal quality and make adjustments to ensure product quality standards are met.
• Monitor film feed systems, maintain film reserves, and replace film rolls as needed.
• Maintain coder/printer equipment to ensure accurate date coding and product identification.
• Verify bag weights and piece counts throughout production.
• Utilize Plant View to perform hourly piece count and bag seal checks, as well as daily incline conveyor inspections.
• Ensure machine guarding is in place and equipment is safe to operate.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area by following Good Housekeeping practices.
• Ensure equipment and work areas meet production, safety, and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Rehire Criteria

Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days.
