Job summary

Americans for Prosperity is seeking a Regional Field Manager (Grassroots Engagement Director) to recruit and mobilize grassroots leaders in Eau Claire or Northwest Wisconsin. You will engage activists, organize neighborhood outreach, and drive AFP priority initiatives while coordinating volunteers and contractors.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends, travel across the state, and a strong commitment to Stand Together values. A valid driver's license is necessary.

Qualifications

• Passion for people and ability to recruit, motivate and educate volunteers.
• Knowledge of state and federal public policy landscapes.
• Self-motivation and time management to achieve objectives.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple events and activities.
• Ability to collaborate with AFP staff and activists in a team.
• Willingness to canvass neighborhoods and make calls for AFP initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Identify activists across Wisconsin who can become local leaders.
• Equip leaders with AFP training and resources to advocate for policy changes.
• Organize events and outreach efforts to educate the public on policy issues.
• Maintain regular contact with volunteers to keep them engaged and active.
• Manage part-time canvassing contractors, ensuring compliance and best practices.
