Job summary

Americans for Prosperity (AFP) in Wisconsin seeks a Regional Field Manager (Grassroots Engagement Director) to identify, recruit, and mobilize grassroots leaders in Green Bay or Fox Valley, driving policy reforms and organizing neighborhood canvassing and events. You will engage volunteers, coordinate training, and connect activists to AFP resources.

Qualifications

• Experience in grassroots advocacy and community organizing.
• Knowledge of state and federal public policy landscapes.
• Self-motivation and time-management skills.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple events and activities.
• Team collaboration with AFP staff and volunteers.
• Willingness to canvass neighborhoods and recruit volunteers.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the state.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify activists across Wisconsin and recruit leaders to advocate for change.
• Equip leaders with AFP training and resources to advance campaigns.
• Organize events and activities including phone outreach, social media, and in-person canvassing.
• Maintain regular contact with volunteers to keep them engaged and informed.
• Manage part-time canvassing contractors ensuring compliance with laws and best practices.
