Job summary

Apple, Inc. is seeking a Wireless Design Verification Engineer to drive pre-silicon RTL verification for wireless MAC interfaces within a world-class silicon design team in California.

You will build reusable testbenches and UVM environments, perform directed and constrained random testing, and work closely with DV methodologists and designers to ensure high-quality verification. Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree.
• Advanced knowledge of Verilog, SystemVerilog, UVM, and SystemVerilog Assertion.
• Knowledge and experience of ASIC verification flows including test bench development, constrained random testing, and code/functional coverage.
• Verification experience of MAC, PHY, DMA, timer, AMBA bus and fabric, encryption/decryption engine.

Responsibilities

• Review MAC subsystem microarchitecture and create verification plan from specification, refine to achieve coverage targets.
• Build block/subsystem level testbenches, create UVM libraries, and architect reusable test benches.
• Develop and execute directed and constrained random tests, debug failures, manage bug tracking, drive issue closure with designers.
• Create and analyze block/subsystem coverage models and add test cases to increase coverage.
• Use machine learning and AI to identify design and test bench issues and improve DV quality.
• Support MAC subsystem validation using Palladium and/or FPGA.
• Collaborate to improve DV methodology and flow.
