Job summary

Granite Telecommunications seeks a Sales Director, Business Development to guide a high-performing wireless sales team focused on acquiring new business and achieving revenue targets.

You will hire, coach, and develop a results-driven sales force, coordinate with customer support, engineering, and PMO to ensure seamless service delivery, and report progress to senior management. Travel will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven sales experience within the telecommunications or technology industry.
• Proven track record of leading and managing a sales team and achieving targets.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the wireless sales team, including coaching, mentoring, and professional development.
• Lead a team of wireless sales representatives to prospect and sell to new business customers.
• Demonstrate high energy, positivity, leadership, and excellent communication skills in guiding the team.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs; implement corrective actions to address shortfalls in pipeline and monthly quota.
• Conduct regular sales meetings to review progress and motivate the team.
• Ensure compliance with Granite’s CRM requirements in Salesforce.com.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a cohesive approach to customer engagement and service delivery.
• Provide regular updates to senior sales management on wireless sales results.
