Job summary

BearCom seeks a Field Service Technician I to install and support wireless communications systems. You will be part of a team delivering reliable service and solutions to customers, with emphasis on on-site installations and rapid troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on electronics knowledge, strong customer service, and the ability to work with programming, radios, and network-related components. Heavy travel and on-call may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field service experience in wireless communications, diagnostics, and installation.
• Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints relevant to radio systems.
• Strong customer service focus with problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Create Basic Programming Codeplugs (less than 12 channels).
• Perform Basic Mobile Installations (Radio, Antenna, Modem, DC-DC Converters).
• Troubleshoot and repair defective two-way radios and wireless equipment.
• Travel regionally and/or overnight as required; may be on-call.
