Job summary

BearCom is seeking an Installation Technician to support wireless and electronic communications systems installation and service. You will be central to delivering high-quality service at customer sites across North America, focusing on accurate installations and customer satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on installation of data cabling, system support during commissioning, and the ability to travel regionally.

Qualifications

• Experience installing CAT 5/6 cable and related devices.
• Experience installing DAS (Distributed Antenna System) preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in ladders, crawls, or elevated areas.
• Must read basic wiring diagrams and DC circuit theory is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Physically install data cabling and mounting infrastructure.
• Support commissioning of communications and low voltage systems.
• Conduct site walks to assess installation requirements for proposals.
• Recommend equipment that meets customer needs.
• Some regional travel and on-call hours may be required; per diem provided.
