Job summary

BearCom is seeking an Installation Technician to install and support wireless and electronic communications systems. You will be at the heart of service locations, delivering excellent customer service and technical solutions to meet challenging needs.

Responsibilities include installing data cabling, supporting system commissioning, and determining installation requirements from site walks. Travel and on-call hours may be required; training and certifications are provided by BearCom.

Qualifications

• Experience with data cabling and mounting infrastructure a plus.
• Experience reading blueprints or logic diagrams a plus.
• OSHA safety training and low voltage certifications a plus.
• Must have valid driver’s license and high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Physically install data cabling and mounting infrastructure.
• Support commissioning of communications and low voltage systems.
• Conduct site walks to determine installation requirements and inform customer proposals.
• Recommend equipment and hardware meeting customer requirements.
• Regional travel and some overnight travel may be required with per diem provided.
