Job summary

EDSI Texas is seeking a Career Coach (Non-Exempt) to support program customers in obtaining and retaining employment, pursuing training, and advancing their careers under the Integrated Services Customer Flow Design.

Responsibilities include reviewing WIOA eligibility, coaching customers toward their IEP goals, maintaining CWDS case notes, and coordinating with PA CareerLink staff. You will help clients become job-ready through resumes, coaching, and targeted job searches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or equivalent experience.
• Prior case management experience required.
• Prior workforce development experience strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and determine WIOA eligibility and register customers.
• Provide career coaching to help customers achieve IEP goals.
• Build relationships with customers to address barriers to employment through assessment and coaching.
• Develop customer-driven IEPs reflecting progress and program requirements.
• Document all customer interactions in CWDS.
• Refer clients to partner organizations for supportive services as needed.
• Assist with resume reviews and job search preparation.
• Coordinate with PA CareerLink staff and community partners to connect clients with resources.
• Maintain customer files per contractor requirements and guidelines.
