Job summary

Southwest Key Programs in Harlingen, TX, is seeking a Career Coach to serve adults and dislocated workers through the WIOA program. You will verify eligibility, conduct assessments, develop employment plans, and coordinate supportive services—driving progress toward employment and self-sufficiency.

You will maintain confidential case files, enter data accurately into TWIST/WIT, and liaise with staff to meet participant goals. Travel and remote work are possible as needed.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree preferred, plus one year in case management or customer service; may substitute with 60 credit hours and 3 years full-time qualifying experience.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Verify eligibility for WIOA services and inform participants.
• Conduct assessments to determine client needs and develop employment plans.
• Provide case management and coordinate supportive services (childcare, transportation).
• Maintain confidential client records and ensure timely TWIST/WIT data entry.
• Follow up with participants and providers to support employment goals.
