Job summary

EDSI is seeking a Career Coach to support job seekers under WIOA, coordinating registration, coaching, and employment planning. Responsibilities include documenting client interactions, updating IEPs, and connecting customers with supportive services through PA CareerLink partners.

The role emphasizes one-on-one coaching, resume preparation, and job readiness activities to help clients achieve employment goals while maintaining thorough case notes in CWDS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or 1–3 years of equivalent experience preferred.
• Prior case management experience required.
• Prior workforce development experience strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and determine WIOA eligibility and register customers.
• Provide remote WIOA registration services using Outlook and handle documents securely.
• Coach customers to achieve goals outlined in Individual Employment Plans (IEPs).
• Build relationships to address barriers to employment through assessment and coaching.
• Develop customer-driven IEPs and update as needed.
• Document all visits and interactions in CWDS with timely case notes.
• Refer customers to partner organizations for services as needed.
• Assist with resumes, job searches, and training program selection.
