Job summary

Cantigny, a 500-acre estate in Wheaton, IL, seeks 15 Winter Program Staff for the upcoming winter season. This part-time role supports nightly public events at Cantigny, indoors and outdoors, from November 4 through January 3.

You will assist guests, manage pop-up shop sales, and ensure displays are well-maintained in a scenic outdoor setting. Prior customer service is preferred; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or willingness to learn.
• Ability to use computer systems for guest ticketing, payment processing, and scheduling.
• Strong verbal communication and guest-facing skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in winter conditions.
• Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests enthusiastically and assists in the purchase of Cantigny pop-up shop merchandise.
• Maintains merchandise appearance and stock at Cantigny pop-up shops.
• Helps minimize inventory loss and maintains displays.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
