Job summary

BDI in Metairie, LA is seeking an experienced Proposal Development professional to manage all phases of our proposal process for private and government clients. You will coordinate with operations and SMEs to plan, develop, and deliver winning proposals.

You will structure scoreable, compliant proposals, develop win themes, enforce response schedules, and ensure alignment with client requirements and company standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in planning, preparation, and development of architectural and engineering proposals and qualifications packages for government and private clients.
• Past relevant experience in AEC industry and market sectors is a must.
• Excellent written communication skills with a strong understanding of grammar, contract language, and technical verbiage

Responsibilities

• Develops and enforces proposal response schedules and deadlines.
• Ensures proposals are compliant with RFP requirements and client standards.
• Collaborates with SMEs, doer/sellers, and sales reps to identify and pursue opportunities.
• Tracks proposal statuses and key milestones in CRM for pipeline visibility.
• Assists with lead generation and event planning for conferences and client meetings.
• Analyzes win/loss data and coordinates debriefs for continuous improvement
