Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager in the United States to lead the development of complex proposals and client-ready presentations for North America. You will drive capture planning, coordinate SMEs, and tailor responses to RFPs/RFQs, communicating win themes and value propositions.

You will guide the team on proposal writing, storyboarding, and delivering effective presentations, with a focus on differentiators and branding across all sections.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in strategic submissions within the AEC industry.
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business or related field.
• Excellent written, verbal and visual communication; editing skills.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams; foster creativity.
• Strong collaboration with technical staff and management.
• Outstanding time and project management in fast-paced environments.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Capable of managing multiple deadlines with diverse teams.
• Goal-oriented, focused on increasing win rate.
• Proficient in MS Office and design tools (InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop/PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead development of complex proposals and presentations to win NA projects.
• Drive capture planning through compliant, compelling responses to RFPs/RFQs.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and SMEs for win strategies and value propositions.
• Guide and train team in proposal writing and presentation prep.
• Storyboard content plans; develop graphics/layout aligned with brand standards.
• Lead proposal meetings, reviews, and related activities.
• Archive proposals and update company/business information.
