Job summary

Chandon in Yountville, CA is seeking a Lead - an advanced and experienced Operator to oversee a line and effectively lead the team on site. The role requires supervising startup, setup of complex line processes, and ensuring safe, efficient production.

Responsibilities include coaching team members, improving processes, maintaining quality, and coordinating with supervisors on daily operations. A high school diploma and winery experience are preferred; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years winery production experience preferred.
• Knowledge of safe production practices and equipment safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and instruct the start-up and operation of line equipment.
• Direct and coordinate team activities to ensure efficient line operation.
• Plan for line changes and product changes to maximize throughput.
• Coach team members to identify and solve standard issues and maintain quality.
• Review and generate WMS reports and address any discrepancies.
