Job summary

Chandon Brand Home in Napa Valley is seeking a Food & Beverage Operations Manager to lead hospitality and experiences, developing a large team and ensuring service and ISO standards are met. You will design seasonal experiences, manage reservations, and oversee events with a guest-centric approach.

You will coach staff, monitor guest feedback, and collaborate with culinary and events teams to deliver memorable visits, while balancing budgets and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a Hotel/Restaurant or similar environment is required.
• Strong customer service, conflict management and service recovery skills are essential.
• Undergraduate degree is strongly preferred or applicable experience.
• English required; additional languages helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training, and appraising talented personnel.
• Facilitate and participate in training sessions: Wine and Food, Sales Excellence, Service Excellence, Safety and Security.
• Deliver ISO and service standards; maintain equipment, par levels, and product presentation.
• Develop training targets, KPI’s, policies, and procedures for new and existing team members; and
• Coach staff on customer service standards, sales, teamwork and culture.
• Communicate policy changes, events, and daily functions clearly; attend Brand Home Leadership meetings.
• Manage day-to-day hospitality/experience operations within budget and highest standards.
• Monitor daily bookings and ensure tables prepared; provide personalized services to VIPs.
• Coordinate and manage communication between guests and staff; resolve complaints promptly.
• Analyze guest feedback and suggest improvements to ratings.
• Lead, motivate, and design exceptional Chandon Experience menus and seasonal offerings.
• Oversee Exclusive and Private Event Experiences; coordinate with planning, operations and culinary teams.
• Control expenses, manage salaries, and optimize labor cost; manage upsell initiatives.
