Job summary

Chandon in the United States seeks Lead Operator to oversee a production line and actively guide a team. You will operate advanced workstations (palletizer, labeler, foiler, filler), assess risks, and ensure safe, efficient line startup, changeovers, and production changes.

Candidates should have at least a high school diploma and 3 years of winery production experience, with strong communication skills and the ability to train others.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years winery production experience preferred.
• Knowledge of safe production practices and equipment safety.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee line operations and lead the production team on shift.
• Operate palletizer, labeler, foiler, and filler with proficiency.
• Plan line changes and startup activities for new products.
• Coach team members on issue identification and problem solving.
• Review WMS reports and ensure accuracy of data.
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance and incident prevention.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality on line performance.
• Promote engagement and recognize team achievements.
