Job summary

Wineshipping in California seeks a Lead, Production Support to oversee warehouse workflow across picking, packing, palletizing, and quality checks. You will coach teams, optimize throughput, and enforce safety and SOPs while collaborating with Operations leadership to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• 3–5 years of warehouse pick/pack or distribution experience.
• Prior leadership in a pick/pack, e-commerce, or 3PL environment.
• Prior experience working cross-functionally with inventory, shipping, or quality teams.
• Demonstrated success meeting productivity, accuracy, and safety targets.
• Prior experience training, coaching, or mentoring warehouse staff.
• Familiarity with multiple warehouse functions (picking, packing, replenishment, receiving, shipping).
• Experience delegating tasks, prioritizing workflow, and balancing labor to meet operational demands.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workflow execution across multiple warehouse functions, including picking, packing, palletizing, and quality assurance.
• Provide real-time direction, coaching, and problem resolution on the floor.
• Monitor productivity and adjust labor or task assignments to maintain throughput, accuracy, and safety.
• Collaborate with Operations leadership to communicate status updates and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Model best practices, coach staff, and ensure adherence to SOPs, safety policies, and quality guidelines.
• Lead with accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
