Job summary

GALLO is seeking a hands-on Microbiology Laboratory Technician to support winemaking quality. You will perform microbiological analyses on wine and spirit products, prepare media, and maintain clean data in the LIMS system.

The role includes sample collection from cellar and bottling areas and requires strong safety and teamwork dedication. The position is full-time, onsite in Modesto, CA, with shift flexibility across day, swing, or grave shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or HS diploma with equivalency plus related GALLO experience.
• HS with equivalency plus 1 year GALLO experience as alternative.
• HS with equivalency plus 3 years laboratory support/work in winery acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological analysis of wines and spirits to support quality teams.
• Prepare media, sanitize equipment, and maintain clean LIMS data logs.
• Collect and deliver wine samples from cellar and bottling areas on schedule.
