Vie-Del is seeking an entry-level Lab Technician to perform laboratory tests for quality control, process control and product development under supervision. The role includes calibrating instruments, running analyses, preparing reports and supporting safety and sanitation programs.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Enology, Food Science, Chemistry or Microbiology, or two years of wine/food lab experience. Willingness to work all shifts/weekends is required.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from laboratory staff, managers, and customers.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality; ability to work all shifts/weekends as needed.

Aufgaben

• Learn analytical test methods, procedures, and equipment through training.
• Calibrate, standardize, and operate instruments for routine lab analyses.
• Test samples to verify conformity to specs.
• Record test results and prepare graphs/charts.
• Perform microbiological tests.
• Conduct sanitation and environmental monitoring tests.
• Prepare chemical solutions per formulas and safety procedures.
• Follow Good Laboratory Practices and safety procedures.
• Assist Lab Manager and QC Supervisor in problem-solving.

Ausbildung

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Enology, Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or related field
