Job summary

E & J Gallo Winery is seeking dedicated individuals for our cellar production team. Under supervision, you will help ensure wine quality through sanitation, sampling, blending, and fermentation maintenance while operating designated equipment on-site.

Applicants should have basic data entry knowledge for wine inventory, be willing to travel up to 5%, wear respirators when required, and adhere to GMP policies as part of a safety-focused, continuous-improvement culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate; or one year of experience in wine production or manufacturing.
• Forklift certification and operation as needed.
• Required to wear a respirator when necessary.
• Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
• Travel to company offices, sites, and meeting locations up to 5% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Tank sanitation, sampling, blending, and fermentation maintenance.
• Operate designated machinery to meet production goals.
• Perform routine production reporting and quality checks.
• Conduct in-process and final production quality control and verification checks.
