Placements24 is seeking a Winery Events Coordinator for a renowned vineyard estate in Paarl to plan and execute wine tastings, weddings, corporate events, and harvest celebrations. You will work with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver memorable experiences, manage budgets, timelines, and staffing, while upholding hospitality standards.

You will collaborate with vendors and teams to ensure flawless execution and a high-quality guest experience at every event.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event planning and management in hospitality or wine.

This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering a variety of events, including wine tastings, weddings, corporate functions, and harvest celebrations. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution and memorable experiences, upholding the estate's reputation for quality and hospitality, and playing a key role in their marketing and sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of event planning, from initial client contact and proposal development to execution and post-event follow-up.
• Manage event budgets, ensuring profitability and adherence to financial targets.
• Liaise with vendors, caterers, and suppliers to secure services and manage contracts.
• Develop event timelines, floor plans, and staffing schedules.
