Qualifications

• Valid Food Handler Card and TABC Certification required.
• Experience in restaurant, kitchen, hospitality, maintenance, or similar preferred.
• Dependable, hardworking, and proactive.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors.
• Physically able to lift and move tables, chairs, boxes, supplies, and equipment.
• Strong teamwork and communication.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and special events.

Responsibilities

• Assist with kitchen duties including basic food preparation, dishwashing, cleaning, and restocking.
• Maintain clean, organized kitchen and service areas.
• Support winery grounds and outdoor areas upkeep.
• Open and close duties.
• Restock supplies and communicate restocking needs.
• Bus, clean, and reset tables during service.
• Assist with event setup, breakdown, and cleanup.
• Move tables, chairs, equipment as needed.
• Support kitchen, hospitality, and events teams.
• Assist with wine service during slower periods.
• Contribute to daily operations to keep things running smoothly.

Hill & Bach Cellars | Boerne, TX

Hill & Bach Cellars is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and versatile Winery Associate to join our team as we prepare to open our new winery experience in Boerne.

This is a hands‑on support role focused on helping with kitchen duties, property maintenance, and the day‑to‑day upkeep of the winery. The Winery Associate will also assist with bussing, event setup and cleanup, and other tasks as needed to support the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the kitchen with basic food preparation, dishwashing, cleaning, and restocking
• Help maintain clean and organized kitchen and service areas
• Assist with general upkeep and maintenance of the winery grounds and outdoor areas
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Restock supplies and communicate when items need to be replenished
• Bus, clean, and reset tables during service
• Assist with event setup, breakdown, and cleanup
• Help with moving tables, chairs, equipment, and supplies as needed
• Support the kitchen, hospitality, and events teams
• Assist with wine service during slower periods
• Jump in wherever needed to help keep daily operations running smoothly

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain a valid Food Handler Card and TABC Certification
• Previous restaurant, kitchen, hospitality, maintenance, or similar experience preferred
• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to take initiative
• Comfortable with physical, hands‑on work and working both indoors and outdoors
• Able to lift and move tables, chairs, boxes, supplies, and equipment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Comfortable interacting with guests and learning about wine
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and special events
