The Biltmore Company’s Winery is seeking a Stockroom Worker I to stock wine and merchandise in a fast-paced retail setting, manage stockroom inventory, maintain displays, and coordinate with central warehouse and visual merchandising. The role includes receiving deliveries, assisting guests, operating the POS, restocking, and supporting events.

The position is Reserve on-call, typically 2–4 days weekly, 7am–3pm, with weekend/evening shifts.

Qualifikationen

• Retail inventory or guest service experience in upscale/luxury setting.
• Excellent guest relations and verbal/written communication skills.
• Basic math and ability to use inventory management and POS systems.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain within the first year.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team.
• Willingness to lift 50-100 lbs daily.

Aufgaben

• Stock items to keep the sales floor adequately stocked using pull sheets.
• Track inventory and displays to determine restocking needs.
• Ensure items are properly displayed and maintain display appearance.
• Process and distribute deliveries from the Retail Central Warehouse & Wine Production.
• Answer radio calls promptly; maintain proper phone/radio etiquette.
• Provide exceptional guest service and assist guests in locating merchandise.
• Assist guests with transportation and loading of large items to their vehicle.
• Perform stockroom bin maintenance under supervisor guidance.
• Maintain daily cleaning and organization of the stockroom.
• Prepare food & drink samples for the Winery and Retail Outlets.
• Operate POS and assist with bagging/wrapping at registers as needed.
• Maintain adequate wine stock levels on the Retail Floor through restocking.
• Maintain a positive, cooperative, and professional attitude at all times.
• Assist with opening/closing duties as needed.
• Operate forklift to transport pallets of wine as needed.
