Biltmore is looking for a Winery Retail Sales Assistant to deliver exceptional guest service and seamless retail operations. You will assist guests with selections, manage cash, and keep the shop clean and inviting, including maintaining samples and displays.
The role requires availability including evenings and weekends, with an average of 20 hours per week. Prior retail or guest service experience is preferred, and a background check may be required.
The starting pay range for this position begins at $16.32/hour and is based on the level of qualifications and relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
The Winery Retail Sales Assistant is responsible for sales, exceptional guest service, retail floor operations, and accurate cash register operations. This includes assisting guests with making their selections, checking inventory locations for guests, upselling and cross-selling, and increasing revenues. Other responsibilities include assisting in opening and closing the shops, putting out and maintaining samples, performing assigned side work, restocking merchandise, and maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the shops.
Reserve: a position working an average of 20 hours per week (anywhere between 40-999 hours per year). Schedules may vary; availability, including evenings and weekends, is required for this position.
