Job summary

Cavalier Distributing is seeking an energetic outside sales professional in Columbus, OH. This role spends about 40 hours per week in your territory, independently driving sales, building relationships, and becoming the face of Cavalier across new and existing retail accounts.

You’ll manage the full sales cycle from quotes to monthly goals, host tastings, support seasonal displays, and attend events. Candidates should be self-motivated, organized, and able to travel to grow the book of business;

Qualifications

• Experience in wine/beverage distribution is a plus.
• Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Must apply for and obtain a solicitor’s license.

Responsibilities

• Build Your Book: grow relationships with existing accounts and develop new business.
• Hit the Road: travel designated route visiting accounts regularly.
• Sell What You Love: expand product lines and ensure placement.
• Be the Expert: host tastings and promotions to drive sales.
• Manage Your Territory: handle quotes, goals, and customer service.
• Support the Brand: assist with displays and seasonal events.
