Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking a Store Team Member in the New Jersey region to provide outstanding customer service, drive sales, and assist with inventory, merchandising, and curbside services. You will greet customers, advise on products, and participate in wine, spirits, and beer training.

The role involves stocking, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to alcohol regulations. Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems (POS) and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and drive sales by engaging with customers and advising them on products.
• Maximize product inventory: process freight, organize and distribute inventory, pull and stock merchandise, build displays and end caps, place signage, and support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pick-up and delivery services.
• Deliver exceptional service and personalized experience by greeting customers and informing them about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities as assigned and perform other duties as assigned.
