Festival Foods in Darboy, WI seeks a Wine & Spirits Assistant Department Manager to lead and mentor a team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. You will share product knowledge, guide associates, and help guests discover favorite beverages—from craft beers to fine wines and premium spirits, while upholding safety and operations standards.

You will recruit, train, and develop staff, finalize schedules, manage inventory, and collaborate with vendors to exceed guest

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required; leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to mentor and develop associates; strong guest service skills.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, spirits and liquor products is strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Mentor and coach associates while upholding Festival’s culture and service standards.
• Assist with hiring, training, and development, including performance reviews.
• Finalize weekly schedules to ensure proper department coverage.
• Monitor inventory, pricing accuracy, and department standards for smooth operations.
• Answer questions and guide associates on liquor, wine, spirits, and beer products.
• Help guests find products, take special orders, and resolve concerns.
• Work alongside the team to stock merchandise and keep the department organized.
• Collaborate with vendors and other department managers to exceed guest expectations.
• Attend to safety policies and proper operation of equipment when needed.
• Maintain regular attendance and coordinate replacements for absences.
