Festival Foods in Holmen, WI is seeking a Wine & Spirits Assistant Department Manager. You will lead a team, mentor staff, and collaborate with the Department Manager to deliver exceptional guest experiences across beer, wine, and premium spirits.

You will guide scheduling, inventory, and product knowledge while ensuring safety and compliance in a fast-paced retail environment. A strong customer-service mindset and leadership presence are essential.

Formación

• High school education or equivalent with leadership experience preferred.
• Must be 21+ to sample products in wine and spirits.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate a team.
• Thorough knowledge of retail food business and wine/spirits operations preferred.
• Ability to interact tactfully with customers and staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to make timely and effective decisions when the manager is absent.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage a diverse crew.
• Knowledge of safety requirements and proper equipment handling.

Responsabilidades

• Mentor and coach associates to reinforce Festival’s culture and service standards.
• Assist the Department Manager in hiring, training, and developing staff, including feedback and reviews.
• Finalize and approve weekly schedules to ensure coverage.
• Monitor inventory levels, pricing accuracy, and department standards.
• Be the go-to expert on liquor, wine, spirits, and beer knowledge for guests and staff.
• Deliver guest service, assist with special orders, and resolve concerns professionally.
• Lead by example by working with the team and maintaining an organized department.
• Collaborate with vendors and team members to exceed guest expectations.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Regular attendance with notice to arrange coverage for absences.
