Job summary

Jamul-Casino is seeking an enthusiastic server to deliver friendly guest service, take beverage and food orders, and ensure accurate sales processing at the POS. You will provide table service, follow food safety procedures, and work closely with kitchen and venue staff to maintain a smooth, high-quality dining experience.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to obtain required Food Handlers, TiPS, and gaming licenses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledgeable of food and wine preferred.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to earn and maintain a Food Handlers Card.
• Ability to earn and maintain TiPS certification.
• Ability to earn and maintain RBS Certification within 60 days of employment.
• Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members.
• Promptly take beverage and food orders and serve food items to guests.
• Complete sales to guests, handle money, and operate POS system.
• Provide table service according to department standards.
• Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and restock supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain smooth operations.
• Meet uniform and grooming requirements.
