Job summary

Coury Hospitality seeks a friendly server/bartender to take guest orders, serve food and beverages, and manage dining areas efficiently. You will operate the POS, handle cash, and coordinate with support staff and management.

A flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is required; knowledge of wine and alcohol is valued, and an Alcohol Server Permit may be required. Previous bartending or cocktail serving experience is preferred, with attention to cleanliness and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Ability to push, stand, stoop, bend and lift up to 25 pounds repeatedly.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of wine and alcoholic beverages; able to explain to guests.
• Must obtain Alcohol Server Permit for applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Receive and take guest orders and process in the restaurant systems.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Perform sidework as assigned.
• Operate point of sale system.
• Straighten chairs, and keep floor free of debris.
• Clean service area and replenish as needed.
• Bus and set tables.
• Handle cash and credit transactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Communicate with support crew and management.
• Adhere to Coury Hospitality Cash Handling Policy.
• Extend and total the check double-check for accuracy and have host sign it.
