Job summary

Cooper's Hawk Winery is hiring servers to curate unforgettable dining experiences centered on hospitality and wine education. You will guide guests through our menu and Wine Club offerings with confident, warm conversation in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ months of server experience, comfort discussing food and wine, and the ability to multitask while maintaining high service standards. A flexible schedule, including weekends, is required for this role.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age and six months of server experience.
• Experience in full service or upscale casual dining preferred.
• Comfort speaking about food, wine, and our Wine Club program.
• Passion for hospitality and teamwork.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for up to 10 hours.
• Must read, write, and understand English.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Show up prepared, stay sharp, and start strong.
• Arrive on time, in proper uniform standards; know the menu and wine list.
• Use the POS system and handle payments accurately.
• Explain the Cooper's Hawk Wine Club and its offerings to guests.
• Follow departmental checklists and SOPs to ensure work areas are prepared for opening, mid-shift, or closing.
• Take responsibility, jump in, and do what needs to be done.
• Serve food and drinks with speed and care; follow alcohol service guidelines.
• Communicate often with the kitchen, hosts, runners, bartenders, and managers to keep service flowing.
• Be genuine, listen well, and tailor the guest experience.
