Job summary

Delicato Family Wines is seeking a Kitchen Steward for Black Stallion Estate Winery. The role focuses on cleanliness, sanitation, dishwashing, waste management, and assisting in basic food prep to support a smooth kitchen operation.

The position requires 21+ years of age, TIPS or training within 90 days, and adherence to safety standards. Benefits include health coverage and a comprehensive package; the pay range is disclosed for California.

Qualifications

• Basic English speaking and reading skills desired.
• Knowledge of safe food handling, preparation procedures, and precautionary procedures of chemicals, detergents, and sanitizers.

Responsibilities

• Assists in dishwashing, waste management, and storing supplies.
• Keeps kitchen equipment and utensils clean and sanitized.
• Assists the Chef and Sous Chef with basic food prep and plating tasks.
• Supports daily operations and event preparations.
• Harvesting, cleaning, and storing items from the culinary garden.
• Maintains the trash program and ensures receptacles are clean.
