Job summary

Delicato Family Wines is seeking a Chef to lead the Culinary Program for Black Stallion Estate Winery. You will oversee kitchen staff, develop seasonally relevant menus, and ensure safety, quality, and cost controls across daily operations.

The role requires 5+ years in a fast-paced kitchen and leadership experience; winery background is a plus. Expect a comprehensive benefits package and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• 1+ years of leadership experience.
• Food Handler Card must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Degree from a Culinary institute preferred.
• Winery experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations and staff performance to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Develop and align menus with brand and winemaking goals.
• Maintain inventory and monitor food costs within budget.
• Collaborate with department managers on staffing and training.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance at all times.
