Montage Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, SC, is seeking a Sommelier to lead wine service across outlets, lounge, and banquet functions. You will mentor bartenders and servers while guiding guests through curated wine selections.

Qualifications

• One year minimum of experience in food and beverage operations.
• Prior micros or other systems experience is a plus.
• Guild of Sommeliers certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering beverage sales in outlets, lounge and banquets, mentoring staff.
• Guide guests through the wine list with descriptions and recommendations.
• Educate associates about wine regions, varietals, and pairings.
• Maintain the wine cellar with proper storage and inventory.
• Oversee beverage costs and pricing with management.
• Attend daily pre-shift meetings and deliver WOW moments.
