Job summary

Cooper’s Hawk Winery in Tampa, FL seeks a Restaurant Manager/Brand Ambassador to lead daily operations of a high-volume full-service restaurant with a wine club program. You’ll supervise food runners, hosts, porters, and bar staff, coach team members, and partner with the General Manager to deliver exceptional guest service and drive Wine Club growth.

You’ll ensure smooth kitchen-front of house collaboration, uphold policies, manage schedules, and build a respectful, energetic work environment

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Scratch kitchen experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Is results-driven; able to coach team to hit restaurant targets (e.g. Wine Club growth).
• Ability to read, understand and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 1–2 departments including food runners, host, porters and/or bar.
• Adhere to policies and manage assigned operating systems.
• Ensure collaboration between kitchen and front of house operations.
• Represent company values and create a respectful and cohesive work environment.
• Manage people by participating in hourly Team Member hiring.
• Training and verifying team members adhere to Cooper’s Hawk standards.
• Maintaining and updating weekly schedules.
• Lead community and department meetings and coach Team Members.
• Maximize financial and operational results and conduct weekly inventory.
• Build and maintain Wine Club Community and train FOH for Wine Club outreach.
• Operate POS, scheduling software, inventory software and Microsoft Office.
