The Wine Group in California is seeking a Cellar Crew Trainee to support blending wine types, connect lines, transfer product, gauge levels, wash tanks, and set up lines for the chiller. Swing shift available with potential overtime during harvest.

Ideal candidates have cellar experience or related heavy lifting work; forklift experience is a plus. Overtime and weekend work may be required during harvest season (August through early November). Shift: Mon-Fri 2:00 PM–10:30 PM.

Qualificações

• Must be 21 years or older at time of hire.
• Prior cellar or related experience preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Must read, write and speak English, and complete all required paperwork correctly.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must pass and maintain forklift certification.

Responsabilidades

• Blend wine types together in tanks and transfer product.
• Gauge levels, wash tanks and lines, and set up lines for the chiller.
• Rack wine tanks to separate fluid and lees; perform wine additions.
• Move pumps and hoses; operate forklifts as required.
• Work safely and follow SOPs; communicate with staff and management.
