Job summary

Express Employment is partnering with the largest privately owned wine company in the Northwest to fill a harvest cellar position in Caldwell, Idaho. The role supports the cellar crew during harvest from late August to mid-November, performing duties from juice transfer to sanitation.

This full-time position offers an hourly pay rate of $16–$18 depending on experience, with extended hours and weekends during peak harvest.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in warm/cold environments.
• Willingness to work extended hours during harvest.
• Previous winery experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Move juice/wine between tanks using pumps and hoses.
• Weigh additives and add to juice/wine.
• Sanitize tanks and equipment.
• Operate pumps, presses, filters.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Assist Winemaker and Cellar Master as needed.

Express Employment is partnering with the largest privately owned wine company in the Northwest. Currently we are seeking a candidate who has an interest in the wine industry to fill an immediate opening for a harvest cellar position in their facility located in Caldwell, Idaho.

The Cellar harvest position will work alongside our cellar crew in all operations during harvest from late August to mid-November.

Pay

• $16-18/hr DOE

Hours

• Monday to Thursday 7a-5:30pm This is a paid full-time position 40 hours per week, Monday Friday during Harvest from late August to late October. Extended hours during harvest including Saturday and Sunday.

Key Responsibilities

• Move Juice / Wine from tank to tank using pumps, hoses, and fittings.
• Weigh additives and make additions to the Juice / Wine.
• Sanitize tanks, hoses, pumps, and fittings.
• Operate Pumps, Presses, and Filters.
• Maintaining an organized and clean working environment.
• Other duties as assigned by Winemaker and Cellar Master.

• Ability to work quickly, accurately, and safely.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to take initiative and work in teams, and independently.
• Willingness to maintain a clean environment at all times.
• Must be willing to kneel, climb stairs/catwalks, and/or lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods under variable temperatures.
• Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented.
• Self-starter with initiative willingness to learn and follow new procedures.
• Previous experience in a winery preferred but not required.
• Basic math required.
