Job summary

Cline Family Cellars in Sonoma, CA is seeking a full-time Cellar Worker to assist in crush operations, bottling preparation, and cellar maintenance. Entry- to mid-level candidates will perform wine movement, sanitation, and packing duties with training provided.

The role requires flexibility for harvest shifts, some overtime, and the ability to lift 50 pounds, stand long hours, and work with a team across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math and measurement skills required.
• Able to read and follow written instructions in English.
• Experience reading production records is a plus.
• Willing to work overtime during harvest.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform most cellar operations; including equipment sanitation, wine movements, barrel work, topping.
• Complete winery work orders promptly and records information accurately.
• Bottling line work.
• Collect wine samples for laboratory analysis.
• Helps to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient winery.
• Operate filtration equipment – training provided.
• Work shifts, overtime and weekends during harvest season - generally from August 1st late November.
• Operate grape processing equipment including hoist, crusher/de stemmer, conveyors and presses.
