Job summary

The Wine Group is hiring a Cellar Crew Trainee in California. You will blend wine types in tanks, connect lines, transfer product, and rack wines to separate fluids and lees. Forklift experience is a plus and overtime may be required during harvest season.

Must be 21+, able to read/write/speak English, and pass pre-employment checks. Work involves climbing, lifting up to 55 lbs, and working with winery equipment and SOPs in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older at time of hire.
• Prior cellar expérience preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English; complete all required paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

• Blend wine types in tanks, hook up lines and transfer product; gauge levels.
• Rack wine tanks to separate fluid and lees; set up lines for the chiller.
• Move and connect pumps; operate forklift as needed.
• Follow operation SOPs and maintain proper sanitation and PPE.
