Job summary

CSX Corporation is seeking a Windows Systems Engineer to manage enterprise Windows Server platforms across on-premises and cloud environments. The role focuses on secure, highly available infrastructure, patch management, and platform currency, with automation using PowerShell and Ansible.

You will collaborate with cloud, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to strengthen security, resiliency, and regulatory compliance. On-call support and travel for site deployments may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required; 3+ years Windows Server administration experience.
• Equivalent minimum qualifications: High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years enterprise systems administration experience.
• Preferred: AZ-104 Azure Administrator Associate and Windows Server certifications.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, deploy, maintain, and support Windows Server platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Design secure, highly available Windows Server infrastructure aligned with cybersecurity standards.
• Lead OS lifecycle management including upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning.
• Develop automation workflows using PowerShell and Ansible; use Infrastructure as Code practices.
