Job summary

Talantir is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for IT issues in a Microsoft Windows environment. The role combines in-office collaboration in Washington, DC with remote support, and some travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows environments; Familiarity with IT Service Management and Zendesk.
• Soft skills: exceptional communication, customer service, ability to work independently and in a team.
• Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Certified Fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, customer-focused technical support to all employees onsite and remote, including senior leadership and executive staff.
• Answer end-user requests via phone, email, Microsoft Teams and ticketing system.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Document all support activities in the ITSM ticketing system and escalate issues when needed.
• Provide clear communication and basic user training on company systems.
• Follow IT policies and security best practices to maintain system integrity.
• Manage IT assets assigned to office and remote users.
