Job summary

Accenture Federal Services in Arlington, VA is seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer with strong Linux administration and IaC skills. You will design and secure cloud-based systems, implement CI/CD pipelines, and automate deployments in AWS environments.

You will write automation scripts, apply NIST/DISA/FedRAMP controls, work with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, and coordinate with development teams to improve reliability and security for national security missions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Linux system and/or network administration.
• 3+ years in a cloud environment (AWS, hybrid or private).
• 3+ years with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
• 3+ years building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab).
• 3+ years implementing security controls in Linux environments.
• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or DoD 8140 equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud-based systems and applications with IaC and CI/CD.
• Build, deploy, and troubleshoot cloud-native apps in AWS.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
• Create automation scripts to streamline operations and deployments.
• Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53, DISA STIGs, FedRAMP.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the SDLC.
• Implement and maintain IAM, encryption, and network security controls.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of applications and services.
• Maintain documentation and stay current with cloud security best practices.
