Job summary

cFocus Software seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to support USAF programs. This on-site role in Linthicum Heights, MD requires an active TS/SCI clearance and enterprise CI/CD experience. You will automate security checks, implement IaC/CaC, and monitor systems across hybrid environments.

You will collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure secure, compliant deployments and timely government-released software. Strong scripting and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• B.S. Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience building and maintaining enterprise CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement the DevSecOps strategy and governance for IT architecture, cloud, and data initiatives.
• Create, operate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with security guardrails.
• Implement IaC and CaC per government-approved designs and baselines.
• Automate cybersecurity controls and checks within pipelines and coordinate remediation.
• Establish continuous monitoring, observability, and incident response across environments.
• Tag data, document configurations, and maintain CM activities.
• Provide evidence and data for Authority to Operate (ATO) and continuous ATO.
• Develop scripts to apply STIGs and generate/update network diagrams from live environments.
• Manage versioned CI/CD artifacts across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Prepare releases for government review and authorized deployment after testing.
• Maintain end-to-end traceability of requirements, code, tests, and releases.
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans and lead remediation efforts.
