Job summary

West Shore Home is seeking a Pre-Installation Technician for our Knoxville-area team. You will accurately measure projects, align installation crews, and support a five-star remodel experience for customers.

You’ll report to the Installation Manager and work with Lead Installers, Trainers, and Warehouse/Operations staff to ensure smooth project kickoff. This full-time role requires a valid driver's license and a willingness to work outdoors.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail; precise measurements are essential.
• Experience in residential remodeling preferred.
• Able to carry and climb a ladder and work outdoors, sometimes in inclement weather.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Smart phone or smart device required to log into company systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Drive to customer locations at appointed times and introduce yourself/company.
• Review Work Order with customer and confirm products to be installed.
• Take accurate measurements and compare against Sales measurements; discuss differences with customer if needed.
• Identify important details or information helpful to installers.
• Snap and upload pictures in Salesforce.
• Observe exterior to identify landscaping or terrain details.
• Conduct final review with customer.
