Job summary

Renewal by Andersen, America's premier window and door replacement company, is seeking a full-time in-field Service Technician to join our team. You will service and repair installed windows and doors, troubleshoot issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of window installation experience, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. You will work independently and with the service team, with paid training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years window installation experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of general construction, home improvements, and renovation preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on the spot.
• Must be able to complete service notes and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair previously installed windows & doors (sashes, screens, locks, units, woodwork, etc.)
• Analyze problems and come up with solutions independently, with the Service team, and our customers
• Determine and follow through on corrective action that is efficient and cost effective
• Maintain customer satisfaction from start to finish with a positive, can-do attitude
• Work in a highly collaborative environment
• Timely documentation of service notes and complete paperwork
• Collect and process payments if necessary
• Fully complete service training from lead service tech and understand procedures implemented with both service and safety
