Job summary

Thompson Creek Window Company is seeking experienced hands-on technicians for a field service role diagnosing and repairing windows, doors, siding, and gutter systems in customers' homes. You will work independently, complete scheduled service visits, and document service activity via mobile apps.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in home improvement repair, installation, or field service.
• Ability to diagnose and repair exterior home products.
• Basic carpentry and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Comfort working independently in customers’ homes.
• Ability to document work using mobile applications.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled service appointments within assigned timelines.
• Diagnose and repair issues involving windows, doors, siding, and gutter systems.
• Perform warranty repairs and post-installation service work.
• Conduct quality assurance visits to ensure installations are performing properly.
• Review work orders before service and identify any discrepancies.
• Document service visits with notes, photos, materials used, and labor time.
• Use company service applications to track job activity.
• Communicate with internal teams regarding follow-ups, materials, or escalations.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicle.

This is a field service role for someone who is comfortable working independently, solving problems in customers’ homes, and handling repairs on windows, doors, siding, and gutter systems .
