Job summary

Window World of Penn/Ohio is seeking skilled regional service technicians to install and service replacement windows and residential exterior doors. You will work a steady Monday–Friday schedule with a company field vehicle, gas card, and full benefits.

You provide the diagnostic skill and craftsmanship, solving homeowners' issues on-site, while delivering high-quality workmanship and clear communication. A valid driver's license and ability to pass a standard background check are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience installing or servicing windows and doors.
• Proficiency with installation tools; experience bending metal.
• Ability to manage a daily service route independently.
• Strong communication with homeowners and professionals.

Responsibilities

• The Fix: Perform high-quality service, adjustments, and repair work on replacement windows and residential doors.
• The Diagnosis: Troubleshoot product performance and installation-related issues in the field.
• Bending Metal: Make on-site adjustments, including wrapping and bending metal for a flawless finish.
• The Standard: Communicate clearly with homeowners and ensure the project functions correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

• The Fix: Perform high-quality service, adjustments, and repair work on replacement windows and residential doors.
• The Diagnosis: Troubleshoot product performance and installation-related issues in the field, replacing sashes, hardware, balances, and other components as needed.
• Bending Metal: Utilize your field expertise to make on-site adjustments, including wrapping and bending metal to ensure a flawless finish.
• The Standard: Act as a clean, professional problem-solver. You will communicate clearly with homeowners and answer their questions and leave them confident that your project is functioning perfectly.

What We're Looking For:

• Installation or Service Experience Required: You have a solid, working understanding of construction practices, installation techniques, and how window/door components function.
• The Tools of the Trade: Proven proficiency with installation tools and equipment, including a strict requirement for experience bending metal.
• Problem-Solving Skills: You work well independently, stay organized, and can efficiently manage a daily route of service appointments.
• Customer Focus: A positive attitude and a calm, professional demeanor when dealing directly with clients in their homes.
• The Essentials: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to safely operate a company vehicle, and the ability to pass a standard background check.
