Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Wind Technician to maintain and repair wind turbine equipment across Texas Hub sites, with local travel and collaboration with Site Lead and Manager to meet contract requirements.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, 1+ year wind tech experience or related training, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work rotating shifts. Base pay ranges from $32.95 to $43.88 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year experience as Wind Technician or wind-related training.
• Technical knowledge assessment may be required.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with site & hub leadership to execute contractual obligations per customer requirements daily.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on wind turbines.
• Assist in site operations with minimal supervision while following safety requirements.
• Document all work using computer-based service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with GE’s remote operations center as needed.
